Anne Stevenson
Admin Assistant
Anne began her career teaching French and managing the Languages Centre in a Welsh College of Further Education, before moving into the financial services sector; where she worked at M&S Bank and Bank of America in a variety of customer-facing roles and projects focused on improving the customer experience. Alongside this, she volunteered with Samaritans and later worked for Shelter Cymru, supporting homeless people.
After a short period of retirement from this role, she joined the Wellbeing Hub in September 2023 tohelp with day-to-day administration. She truly enjoys being part of such a positive environment, working alongside dedicated volunteers and trustees; and meeting local people who benefit so much from the Hub's services.​

Sara Ward
Café Supervisor
Sara has built up a wide-ranging experience through running a number of her own small enterprises, including importing giftware from the Far East, mananging a commercial kitchen, with hands on cooking responsibilities and overseeing a private estate house. These roles have included strong organisational, financial and customer service skills.
She is now pleased to contributre these abilities to the day-to-day running of this vibrant community space, ensuring it remains welcoming, well-organised and valuable to the local community.

Chris Spray
Acting Chairperson and Trustee
Chris was a founding partner in the charity Mind Over Mountains along with Kelsall's own Alex Staniforth. "MOM" is now a leading charity in the well-being sector offering well-being walks and retreats to people who are challenged by their mental health in all walks of life.
In business Chris works internationally delivering manufacturing performance and sustainability improvement. As Chair he just wants to ensure the team are resourced to deliver massive value and our community understand the immense value the Hub is delivering to all involved.

Barry Patterson
Trustee
Commercial Finance Professional with extensive experience in strategic financial planning, analysis, M&A and decision support for dynamic growth companies, encompassing private equity start-ups, SMEs and global listed organisations. Proven track record of delivering results as well as the increasing profitability, within a variety of roles and industries.

Barry makes sure we are squeezing every ounce of value from our grants and operating income. He's absolutely passionate about making sure financial controls secure our ongoing delivery.

Jen Paul
Trustee
A teacher with 15 years’ experience in both mainstream and special education, Jen also spent two years in Malawi working at a teacher training college. She later became a Restorative Justice Practitioner, before moving into the Education Department of Cheshire Fire and Rescue.

Her community journey began as Secretary for the Kelsall and Willington Neighbourhood Development Plan. After two years in Spain working in PR and communications for a high-end building firm, she returned to Kelsall and threw herself into the Hub, designing interiors and wielding power tools.
These days, Jen can also be found driving fundraising, managing social media, and keeping the show on the road

John Edwards
Trustee
20 years’ experience as owner and director of professional services firms in global energy markets. Masters degree with Distinction in Social Policy and Assured Social Value Practitioner. Currently leading social value programmes for a FTSE listed infrastructure company

John is passionate about ensuring our Hub delivers real social value and is always keen to showcase delivery to all our stakeholders.

Linda Ashdown
Trustee
Linda brings extensive experience from a career spanning large national programme delivery, including government-contracted projects, and leading people-focused restructuring in major nationalised and high-profile corporate organisations. She is also skilled in career and life coaching, person-centred and CBT approaches, and stress-management counselling.Before retiring, Linda worked in Talent Acquisition and Management for the UK division of an American corporate.

As a Trustee at the Hub, she is dedicated to building a strong volunteer team and supporting our staff to help the Hub run smoothly and effectively.

Louise Parsons
Trustee
A global HR transformation and digitalization executive with over 20 years’ experience in commercial HR roles. Louise has significant experience of delivering transformation projects in highly complex global organisations. She brings expertise in programme and talent management as well as a passion to make a difference

Louise makes a huge impact on ensuring our policies, and recruitment processes are well led and well organised.

Martin Durrant
Trustee
As a former GP for the local medical centre, Martin brings a wealth of understanding of the local comunity, helping translate this into a needs statement and a great liaison with the practice.

Martin is our link to the GP practice, focussed on ensuring social prescribing is at the forefront of the minds of all involved in helping people navigate complex health needs.

Richard Dawson
Trustee
25 years of experience helping businesses cut through the noise of marketing and technology, Richard now focuses on creating strategic clarity for organisations navigating AI and Digital transformation. He is a CPD-certified Strategic AI Adviser and a Marketing Mentor, supporting business leaders who feel overwhelmed by the flood of Marketing Advice or AI Options.
At the Hub, Richard makes sure the brilliant work of our staff and volunteers is shared effectively with the broader community, ensuring our story and impact reach the people who need us most. A proud “Chief Cumbrian in Exile,” he’s also a lifelong F1 and Beatles Superfan.

Viv Couche
Trustee
A member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, Viv is a relationship management professional with over 25 years’ experience across Charity, Pharmaceutical, Professional and Financial Services sectors. Skilled in fundraising, project management and HR, Viv brings significant voluntary and third sector expertise to the Trustee Board. A resident of Kelsall for 10 years, Viv is keen to make a positive difference for the community served by the Wellbeing Hub.
